Engagment: Daniel & Abby ; Downtown Indianapolis

I know that every session I say that it's hard for me to choose what images to share, but seriously, this session I could share every single picture and tell you why I love it! The dog. The beautiful couple. The utter happiness between the two {even in freezing cold weather}. Seriously perfect. They were fun, laid back, and they even brought me an assistant free of charge {Abby's mom!}. Oh, and how could I forget the 4 pounds of precious named Otto who stole the show here and there.

Thank you Abby & Daniel for spending the day with me! I wish you both a lifetime of happiness, and cannot wait to see pictures from your wedding day!

Family Photography, Greenfield, Indiana: Katie, Chad, & Matthew

Going into this session, I was actually very nervous. For one, there is the frigid cold weather: 20's and windy at times. And two, an 18 month old. I only say that because I have a little boy {22 months} that is the opposite of sitting still and smiling. It's what I like to call—comes with age. But, I had a beautiful location, and to top it off a beautiful family. I was challenged many times during this shoot, and little man definitely gave me a run for my money, but I snatched some of my favorite shots to date. That alone makes me beam. Sure, many of the Christmas props I brought never even made it out of my bag, and yes, only one lens got put to use, but guys.... guys... THIS. These guys make it look easy. Thank you Katie, Chad, and Matthew for allowing me to capture this moment in time.
