Family Photography, Greenfield, Indiana: Katie, Chad, & Matthew
Going into this session, I was actually very nervous. For one, there is the frigid cold weather: 20's and windy at times. And two, an 18 month old. I only say that because I have a little boy {22 months} that is the opposite of sitting still and smiling. It's what I like to call—comes with age. But, I had a beautiful location, and to top it off a beautiful family. I was challenged many times during this shoot, and little man definitely gave me a run for my money, but I snatched some of my favorite shots to date. That alone makes me beam. Sure, many of the Christmas props I brought never even made it out of my bag, and yes, only one lens got put to use, but guys.... guys... THIS. These guys make it look easy. Thank you Katie, Chad, and Matthew for allowing me to capture this moment in time.

Carmel Indiana Family Photography
Three years in a row, I have watched these kids grow. Three years in a row, I have gotten to witness the love between this family. Three years, and they are just as fun, down-to-earth and easy to work with as I remember. It's funny, because I always rave to others about this one family that has the most well-behaved children I have ever photographed. This is that family. And they have three of those children. They are doing something incredible with them, and I am so honored to have the privilege to capture their family behind the camera.

White River State Gardens Family Photography
There were a few great things to mention about this morning's session. For one, I found a pretty amazing location to shoot at, one that was always right in front of my eyes, and I had no idea. And two, I got to witness the blending of two families, and the love between them. They made it look easy, and it certainly was fun having a big open area all to ourselves.
